The Payton Wright Foundation Financial Assistance Program is to help parents of children with pediatric brain/spinal cord cancer by easing their financial burdens so that they can keep their focus where it matters most, on their child.

What it takes!

When a child is diagnosed with brain cancer, the entire family is thrust into a fight they never expected. Parents often spend weeks or months at hospitals far from home, balancing lifesaving treatments, travel, lost income, and the emotional weight of caring for their child.

The Payton Wright Foundation exists to ease that burden. We provide critical financial assistance to families caring for children with brain and spinal cord cancers, helping cover essential everyday expenses such as rent, mortgage payments, utilities, transportation costs, groceries, and other household bills. By relieving these immediate financial pressures, families can focus their energy where it belongs—on their child's treatment, recovery, and well-being.

Working closely with pediatric neuro-oncologists and hospital social workers, The Payton Wright Foundation responds quickly to families facing urgent needs, often paying bills directly so support reaches families when it matters most. The Foundation also provides gas cards and travel assistance to help families get their children to critical medical appointments and treatments.

At its heart, The Payton Wright Foundation is about more than financial aid—it is about giving families hope, stability, and the ability to stay focused on what matters most during one of the most difficult journeys imaginable: helping their child fight brain cancer.
